  • See photo for Estimate measurements for amount needed.

How to create a preserved moss wall with Reindeer moss:

What you'll need:

  • GOOD AMOUNT OF REINDEER MOSS

  • MDF, METAL OR DIBOND PANELS THAT WE USE AS A WORK SUPPORT

  • PVC OR VINYL FLOOR GLUE, PREFERABLY SOLVENT-FREE

  • NOTCHED SPATULA

  • GLOVES

  • KNIFE, CUTTER OR PRUNING SHEARS

  • A VELCRO STRAP OR SCREW SYSTEM TO STICK THE PANELS TO THE WALL

Creating:

  1. Use MDF or Dibond Panels

These are strong, smooth, and won’t break when cut. They’re also good with humidity—perfect for moss. Note

that it is important to work flat and to screw the sheets to the wall

after gluing the plants.

  1. Glue the Moss

Spread glue on the panel. Take reindeer moss, trim the bottom if needed, and press it onto the glue.

  2. Let It Dry

Leave it to dry for at least 12 hours.

  3. Attach to the Wall

Use velcro or screws to fix the panels to the wall. Make sure they fit tightly so the seams don’t show.

Using Floral Foam

Floral foam helps add height and create a fuller look. Use it to even out moss layers or build volume. Just cut it to the shape and thickness you need, then glue it in place with PVC glue.
